The old saying that it takes 80% of the effort to complete the last 20% of the work certainly holds true. The whole “mission” to set up our business has been a difficult task as we are just one family and there has been so much work to do. Nevertheless, I always knew it would take hard work and investment to make something of value that customers might want to use.
We will open during our normal trading hours from Monday 22 February 2016. All of the current information about Shore Catch is on our website (www.shorecatch.com.au). It’s probably better you look at that, if interested, rather than me writing an “essay” here.
I know why I never pursued a career in IT – I have lost track of the number of hours required to make the site and it is a fairly boring task. A web site is a really important part of a business however and I have had to build a new one from scratch, and try to make it how I would like to view a site. It has just been published but I will continue to work to make it better, add products, keep it up to date and further develop the social media aspect. It’s new, and there will be errors (still in testing but mostly there) so please feel free to message me with anything that has been missed or is wrong.
Our product list will constantly change as items are added or deleted. The second-hand section of our site has no products yet but this will be populated with the equipment we have to date next week. We hope that Members will see this as a valuable service and consign equipment for sale with us.
Customer feedback and suggestions are so important. I have designed a feedback form and have included this in the web site as we really want to hear from you. I expect our product range and introductory price structure will vary based on the feedback we receive. The help provided by FW Members so far has been invaluable, and I have put together the feedback form to hopefully make it easy for you to let us know what you think.
You are more than welcome to visit us in Wangara and say hello.
Mick
