Shore Catch has custom designed and built a fish shredding machine that's purpose is to turn fish flesh and bone into small pieces. The cutting design of the machine produces particles of fish that are the perfect size to suspend in the water column and attract, not overfeed, the fish.
The shredded fish product is suitable for numerous applications. It can be fed out in small amounts off the beach or boat, placed in suitable burley pots/bags, or used as the base fish product for a manufactured "traditional" burley. Following a review, we now only offer shredded WA pilchards for retail sale. In real terms, a raw fish burley product doesn't get much better than small pieces of mulies that have been shredded to the right size. We also supply mulie seconds (the raw material) for those that want whole burly fish at a reasonable price. |
